AssemblyAI

Also an agent tool
ai

Speech-to-text, audio intelligence, and LeMUR LLM over audio via the AssemblyAI REST API. Transcripts (create from audio_url, get, list, delete, sentences, paragraphs, subtitles, redacted-audio, word-search) and LeMUR (task, summary, question-answer, action-items, get response, purge). API-key auth via raw Authorization header (no Bearer prefix). Audio Intelligence models are request-body flags on create_transcript, returned inline on get_transcript. Completion webhook uses a user-defined custom auth header (not HMAC) so no registered signature handler matches — the v1 trigger is polling on list_transcripts (filter status=completed). Binary /v2/upload (Theme 9) and the realtime WebSocket streaming surface are deferred OUT; the public audio_url JSON path is fully buildable. See compatibility.md assemblyai-01/02.

15 actions · 1 triggers

The AssemblyAI integration lets you connect AssemblyAI to your automations with 15 actions and 1 triggers — and every action is also a tool an AI agent can call. Examples: Create Transcript, Get Transcript, List Transcripts, Delete Transcript, Get Sentences. No blank-canvas wiring — connect it and use it in your workflows.

Every action below is also a tool an AI agent can call — the same pack powers your workflows and your agents.

Triggers 1

Events in AssemblyAI that can start a workflow.

polling

New completed transcript

Fires when a transcription finishes; filter status=completed. AssemblyAI's completion webhook uses a user-set custom auth header (not HMAC), so no registered signature handler matches (assemblyai-02) and polling is the v1 trigger path.

Get Transcript

Fetch or poll a transcript by id (GET /v2/transcript/{id}). Returns the full transcript object plus any enabled intelligence outputs. status transitions queued -> processing -> completed | error.

GET

List Transcripts

List/paginate recent transcripts (GET /v2/transcript). Safe read-only identity/connectivity check and the polling trigger source. Retrievable window: last 90 days.

DELETE

Delete Transcript

Permanently delete a transcript and its associated data by id (DELETE /v2/transcript/{id}). Cleanup action for the WRITE test target.

Frequently asked questions

What can I automate with AssemblyAI?

15 actions are available — for example: Create Transcript, Get Transcript, List Transcripts, Delete Transcript, Get Sentences, and more.

Which AssemblyAI events can start a workflow?

1 triggers — for example: New completed transcript.

Can AssemblyAI be used as an AI agent tool?

Yes. Every AssemblyAI action automatically becomes a tool an AI agent can call — the same pack powers both your workflows and your agents.

How is the AssemblyAI integration modelled?

AssemblyAI is modelled as a versioned connector pack, and the steps that need reasoning fall to first-party agents hosted in the same runtime as the workflows.
